9 Month Dr. Appt

Paige had her 9 month check-up today! She saw Dr. Kubart because Dr. Marx was in a skiing accident and won't be back until June. :o( We were sad about that because we really like Dr. Marx, but Dr. Kubart is great too!

Paige is still slow to gain weight, so Dr. Kubart suggested that I keep her on Prilosec until she is one. She also said to start giving it to her twice a day, instead of just once. Paige only nurses for about 5 minutes (sometimes less) at a time and Dr. Kubart believes it is because she is still having issues with her reflux.

I was not thrilled about this because I tried to take Paige off of Prilosec already, and now I am giving it to her more often. However, if it makes her feel better and she is able to eat more, then I am all for it!

Developmentally Paige is doing great! She is crawling around very quickly, she is cruising on the furniture, walks with assistance, and crawls up the stairs. She also likes to eat lots of table foods, but she still eats some baby food and cereal too! She is not saying Mama or Dada yet, but she does babble a lot when you talk to her or have a conversation in close proximity to her.

Paige weighs 16 pounds and 4 ounces (10th percentile). She is 27.5 inches long (50th percentile), and her head circumference is 17 inches (25th percentile).
